Shree Rajneesh Ashram is a space created with a simple intention — to bring together meditation, nature, silence and community in a way that feels natural and effortless.

Located in the serene surroundings of Rishikesh, the ashram offers an environment where you can slow down, be present and explore life with greater awareness and clarity.

Whether you are here to relax, meditate, learn or simply take a break from the noise of everyday life, this is a space where you can come as you are.

THE VISION BEHIND THE ASHRAM

A Lifelong Dream for Rishikesh

Swamijee had a dream of opening an Osho ashram in Rishikesh for over 50 years – a dream born from his deep love for this sacred land, its river, and its potential to awaken humanity.

With this vision, Swamijee encouraged Raghav and Megha to carry this work from Nepal to Rishikesh, so that more people could explore Osho’s meditation and transformative teachings in this divine place.

Meditation is the only revolution that brings more love into the world.

About Raghav

Swami Bodhi Raghav is the heart and vision behind Shree Rajneesh Ashram.

Before starting the ashram in Rishikesh, Swami Bodhi Raghav spent nine years living and practicing at the Osho Ashram in Nepal. During this time, he focused deeply on meditation and worked in every department of the ashram. He helped with everything from the reception desk and food services to building and construction. By doing this work, he learned exactly how to create a great experience for guests and seekers.

Through years of meditation and hard work, he mastered Osho’s techniques. Now, with the blessings of his Guru, he is bringing this authentic experience to Rishikesh.

His main goal is to combine the holy energy of Ma Ganga with Osho’s meditation techniques. He believes that mixing the peaceful flow of the sacred river with active meditation creates a powerful way for people to look inside themselves.

Every single detail of Shree Rajneesh Ashram is built with deep devotion to elevate the guest experience. Swami Bodhi Raghav has designed the space to support both spiritual growth and physical comfort. The rooms are just like a 4-star hotel, offering excellent hospitality and services. Guests are also served healthy, Sattvic food that nourishes both the body and the mind, making it the perfect environment to experience Osho’s teachings in their truest form.

MEET THE FACILITATORS

Guides on the Journey Within

At Shree Rajneesh Ashram, our facilitators bring their own journeys of meditation, awareness and inner exploration into the space they hold for others. Together, they support seekers in experiencing Osho’s meditations and teachings in a simple, experiential and welcoming environment.

Bodhisattva • Meditation Teacher • Spiritual Guide

Swami Anand Arun

Swami Anand Arun is a disciple of Osho, a dedicated seeker and a renowned meditation teacher. His spiritual journey began at an early age, taking him to many masters and spiritual traditions in search of deeper understanding. In 1969, while studying engineering, he met Osho and recognised that his search for a master had come to an end. He took initiation from Osho in 1974 and became Swami Anand Arun.

After spending time with his master, Osho instructed him to go to Nepal, establish an ashram and share his vision. This led to the creation of Osho Tapoban International Commune, which has grown into a centre for meditation and inner exploration with a global community.

Over the years, Swami Anand Arun has dedicated his life to sharing Osho’s vision through meditation, yoga, talks and books. His work has reached seekers across the world, and he has been instrumental in establishing Osho meditation centres in different countries.

He is also a celebrated author and speaker, with books including Lone Seeker Many Masters, In Wonder with Osho, Satsang and Panchseel – Five Sutras of Transformation. His life and work continue to inspire seekers to explore meditation, awareness and a deeper understanding of themselves.

Meditator • Osho Facilitator • Spiritual Seeker

Swami Bodhi Raghav

Swami Bodhi Raghav is a dedicated meditator and spiritual seeker whose journey began at the age of 12. Introduced to Osho’s wisdom from an early age, he explored several meditation traditions, including Art of Living, Sadhguru meditation and Transcendental Meditation, before dedicating himself fully to Osho’s path.

In 2017, he took sannyas and chose a life of meditation, discipline and inner transformation. He spent nine years at Osho Tapoban Ashram in Nepal under the guidance of his guru, Swami Anand Arun, immersing himself in Osho’s meditation techniques and therapies. He has practiced Osho Dynamic Meditation every day since taking sannyas and has extensively undertaken Osho therapies including No-Mind, Mystic Rose and Who Is In?

For many years, Raghav closely assisted Swami Anand Arun, accompanying him on international travels across London, the US, Canada, Australia, Bhutan and Thailand. He has also been facilitating Osho meditations online for seekers around the world and conducting Osho therapy sessions in London, Dubai and Canada.

His deepest aspiration is to share Osho’s vision and make the transformative experience of meditation, awareness and inner freedom accessible to seekers everywhere.

Meditator • Spiritual Seeker

Ma Anand Megha

Ma Anand Megha is a spiritual seeker born in Libya and raised in Canada, whose connection with spirituality began at an early age. She explored kirtans, Art of Living and Shiv Yog meditations, yoga, and regularly attended services at a Hindu temple. At 16, she had her first glimpse of Osho and recognised a deep connection with his presence.

In 2017, Megha met her living Guru, Swami Anand Arun, at an Osho Ashram in San Diego. This meeting opened a deeper journey within her. In 2019, she left Canada to live at Osho Tapoban Ashram in Nepal, where she spent seven years immersed in a spiritual and sattvic lifestyle.

During her years at the ashram, she deeply explored Osho’s meditation techniques and experienced the Osho therapies offered there. She spent hours meditating at Osho’s samadhi and practiced Osho Dynamic Meditation daily for six years without missing a day.

Today, Megha continues to walk the path of meditation and devotion, sharing her experience and inviting others to explore Osho’s vision and their own inner journey.

Meditator • Osho Facilitator • Spiritual Seeker

Swami Gurucharan

Swami Gurucharan is a seeker, meditator, and facilitator whose path has been shaped by a lifelong need to question everything until he found what was true for himself.

Born in England and raised in India, he returned to London at 14 for his studies. Living away from home, he explored many cultures and ways of being, and it was there his inner journey began. Though a direct descendant of the third Sikh Guru, Guru Amar Das Ji, he could never simply believe what he was told — he always carried questions, and always sensed there was more to life.

In London he explored several paths, practicing Sadhguru’s meditation and breathwork for around three years, yet deeper transformation eluded him — until he met Osho. Long doubtful of gurus, everything shifted at Osho Tapoban in Nepal, where he stayed seven months under his guru Swami Anand Arun and received his sannyas name, Swami Gurucharan. There he devoted himself to Osho’s active meditations, completed the Facilitator Training Course, and underwent Osho’s therapies, including No-Mind and Mystic Rose.

Only three months into his practice, he felt called to share what he had found. In the two years since, more than a thousand seekers have connected with him, many guided toward discovering that the love and strength they sought were always within them. Today he facilitates active meditation and conducts retreats across India. His deepest aspiration is to share the most beautiful gift he has received — Osho, and the meditations he left behind for the human being of this mad age, which he believes can only heal if we begin with ourselves, one by one.
